Unique job opportunity: work for a pioneering Social Enterprise

Oxbridge Interviews, a pioneering social enterprise, is looking for three dedicated and creative individuals to join our team as Coordinators. The positions offer a unique chance to manage and oversee the expansion of the enterprise, and generate £100,000 for charity while also supporting less advantaged university applicants. Substantial learning and development opportunities will be offered, so this is a brilliant opportunity for anyone interested in charity or social enterprise.
Oxbridge Interviews is a branch of Oxford Fission Community Interest Company (OxFizz). OxFizz is pioneering a unique model of philanthropy and volunteering by offering an innovative method of fundraising and encouraging people to make a difference in a different way. Instead of giving money, our 150 volunteers donate their time and skills to provide one of OxFizz’s educational services. Customers are charged, and the profits go to the charity of the volunteer’s choice, as well as to a bursary programme for disadvantaged students.
Established in 2008, Oxbridge Interviews is one of three OxFizz enterprises. Oxbridge Interviews provides practice university interviews for pupils applying mainly to Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Interviewers are volunteers, highly trained recent Oxbridge graduates. Pupils are charged, and profits are divided between the charity of the interviewer’s choice and a bursary programme. The latter means that for each fee-paying interview provided, we offer a free interview for a candidate from a less advantaged background, partnering with educational charities such as Teach First and Villiers Park Educational Trust.
We have three opportunities available:
Our Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing and running our interview event days, focusing on both the logistical arrangements and the people-facing side to the role through acting as host. This is a great opportunity for a candidate interested in event management in a unique setting.
Our Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the business side to what we do, marketing our services and liaising with interested customers to manage bookings. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in enterprise, marketing, sales and customer relationships.
Our Recruitment & Training Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting our volunteer interviewers. This is a great opportunity for a candidate interested in working with, inspiring and managing volunteers.
These positions will entail contributing to other branches of the OxFizz enterprises, liaising with members of the senior management team including Hannah (our Chief Operating Officer), and Jamie, Bobby and Chris (our Directors), and having an input into wider OxFizz strategy.
The positions offer the experience of working in an innovative, pioneering, increasingly recognised and high performing social enterprise on the cusp of achieving substantial social impact (we are predicting £100,000 raised for charities and our bursary programme this year). The successful candidates would play a key role in this - we are a small team so are able to provide genuine hands-on experience.
Salary: £18,000 pro rata
Hours: 40 hours a week (with statutory holiday entitlement)
Closing date: Monday 20th June 5pm
